On Sunday, Sept. 18, the team from our financial centres in Kitchener and Hamilton joined together to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation to raise funds for the “Big Bike.” They toured around downtown Hamilton spreading merriment and awareness of an important cause. About 1.6 million Canadians are living with the effects of heart disease and stroke” says Shawn Smith, Managing Director. “And the Foundation is committed to improving their recovery.”

Janet Taylor, Sales Manager, has been a long-time supporter of the Foundation for many years. “Nine in 10 Canadians have at least one risk factor for heart disease and stroke,” she says. “Public awareness of good nutrition and regular exercise play an important role in disease prevention.” 

Judging from the smiles and enthusiasm, the team had a great ride. Thanks to these two financial centres for supporting a great cause.
