David Feldberg is a student of the industry and a well-known leader in the financial advisory community. After graduating from Carleton University, he began his career in 1991 and founded the Ottawa office of DFSIN in 2000.

Today, David manages centers and advisors across Ottawa, Southwestern Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces. His mandate is to grow an effective, independent distribution network by providing advisors with a professional, collegial environment - one that encourages specialization and client-focused service under the recognition of a national brand. A passionate advocate for the next generation, he is dedicated to recruiting and fostering new talent, a commitment reflected in the addition of his daughter, Dalia, to the advisor team.

In addition to his leadership role, David maintains his own client practice and volunteers with several charitable organizations. He resides in west-end Ottawa with his family.

Randy began his career in banking. During those early years, he listened closely to clients to fully understand their needs. He then began coaching his peers on how to have meaningful client conversations. In 2009, Randy decided to develop his own financial advisory business with DFSIN. In addition to managing his practice, he leads the education of financial advisors. He is also our resident compliance contact reviewing advisor transactions and their marketing activities. Randy lives in the Barrhaven suburb of Ottawa with his wife and their two children. 

Erin began her career in healthcare administration field assisting patients and their families navigate their recovery and care journey, which often involved spending their money on healthcare. In 2009 Erin transitioned her career to financial services with a passion for educating clients and her peers on the real costs of healthcare and how holistic financial planning can help families navigate through sometimes difficult costs due to unexpected injury, illness or losing a loved one. Erin is very involved in her community; she is the current president chapter of the financial advisors’ association Advocis in Ottawa and enjoys giving back!

Erin lives south of the city in Merrickville with her two sons, husband and two dogs.

Kaitlyn leverages a unique background in events and social services to drive marketing, community engagement, and talent growth at DFSIN Ottawa. Before joining the team, she honed her operational and relationship-building skills as the Operations Manager for the Ottawa Jazz Festival and in contributions to the Ottawa Senators Foundation.

Now, she applies her creative expertise in events, social media, and branding to support advisors and amplify the firm’s core message: #meetgoodpeople. Passionate about shaping the future of the profession, Kaitlyn also focuses on recruiting and mentoring the next generation of advisors. She holds diplomas in both Social Service Work and Event Management, a combination that fuels her drive to create meaningful connections and make a positive impact.

A proud resident of downtown Ottawa, she enjoys city life with her two dogs.
